Lightest Double Stroller
When looking for a lightweight double-stroller that folds, the size and weight are important factors to consider. When not in use, pick a stroller that is easy to handle and compact. This makes it easier to store it in your car trunk and navigate through airport gates and foreign roads.
The most lightweight strollers have a lightweight, easy fold and self-standing mechanism that helps reduce the strain on parents' bodies. Many strollers have different seating options and some are able to accommodate infant car seats.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
The perfect product for families traveling. Lightweight, with a simple one-hand compact fold. The all-terrain wheels and front suspension as well as the multi-position reclining seats, allow for children to weigh up to 50 pounds. Parent and child trays, large storage basket and 3-tier canopy that has a peek-a-boo window for maximum sun protection.
The Cloud received one of the lowest scores on our tests of quality due to its flimsy design, hard plastic seats and a design that is old-fashioned. It's also costly compared to other strollers with lighter weights which is why it's not the best choice when you're looking for a low-cost option.
It's not the most light stroller but it's got enough features to be worth considering. The swiveling front wheels make it easy to move on flat surfaces, and it is able to jump over curbs with minimal effort, unlike many other lightweight strollers that veer off course when trying to do the same thing. The Cloud's low, almost knee-high handle is a downside. It's not adjustable, and it's not adjustable. It's not a comfortable thing to push your legs dangling in the air, and it doesn't help that it's not cushioned.
During our testing and testing, we found the Cloud to be easy to set up and open. It's a little more challenging to close, however. You need to slide a slider, and then press a large white button to cause it to collapse. It can be quite frustrating particularly if you're trying to keep track of kids while doing it.
The Cloud comes with a compact but deep storage basket. It can fit a large diaper bag. The basket is a bit small and you might have to store something inside to reach the back. The Cloud has an adult and child tray with two cup holders each however, they're too narrow to hold larger cups or bottles.
Kolcraft is a family-owned business which has been in existence since 1946. They began by making diapers and crib pads and now they produce various baby products, including highchairs as well as infant car seats. The company is based in Chicago and is an American manufacturer.
Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS
Jeep Destination Ultralight is a lightweight double stroller with a minimalist style that's ideal for travel. It's super light at just 18lbs (lighter than many single strollers!) and can fold flat for easy transport and storage. It also features independently reclined seats, as well as large SPF50 sunvisors with peekaboo window. The visors can be adjusted to accommodate kids of different heights. Additionally, it comes with an integrated one-step parking brake that is Disney-sized approved.
The swivel wheel of the Jeep is also great for maneuvering over bumps and uneven terrain. This stroller does not accept car seats. Your child must be at minimum six months old and possess an excellent neck control to ride on the front seat. The stroller does have a three-panel sun canopy and each seat comes with a cupholder and snack tray.
Valco Baby Snap Duo Trend is a different incredibly light side by side stroller. It's heavier than the Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 pounds. However, it's narrower and slimmer (26.5 inches wide!) and comes with a lot of elegant features that make it perfect for travel. It's a simple fold, is very movable and can be tucked away in the overhead compartments of airplanes and trunks easily.
Like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double and Mountain Buggy Nano Duo, the Joovy Kooper X2 is another tri-fold ultralight double stroller. It's pretty similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, but it has some distinct differences. It's also slightly more expensive, but it offers better maneuverability and has an extra sun canopy. It also comes with a handy carry strap and can hold children as heavy as 44 pounds per seat.
Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+
Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is a stroller that is light with lots of features. It is not only incredibly lightweight, weighing just 13 pounds but also has plenty of storage space, including cupholders for both parents and children and a sippy-cup bag for the child, a parent's storage pocket and so on. This stroller is also compatible with a child's seat and features a flip-flop-friendly brake that is easy to engage. This stroller is designed to grow along with your child. It can be converted from a baby to an adult stroller by attaching car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children ages six months and over.
The stroller is swivel-wheel only and no locking feature, so it may not be the best option for rocky or steep terrain. It's still a great option for families with children, since it is easy to maneuver on pavements and other smooth surfaces.
This is one of the lightest and compact double strollers, with all-size features. The quick-close feature allows you to fold it down with just one hand in seconds, and it's small enough to fit easily into your trunk or garage. It can also be used as a stoller for travel and is compatible with no additional adapters with most car seats.

The Kooper X2 double stroller is an excellent option for parents looking for an easy-to-use double that can hold two kids. The sling-style seats are comfortable and they offer the same amount of headroom as other double strollers. This allows kids to sit together. The Kooper X2 is unique in that it offers a fully reclining seat, which makes it a fantastic choice for napping. Its recline mechanism is easy to operate, but it doesn't go genuinely flat; taller kids may notice a dangling leg when sitting in a reclined position. It also features a large canopy which we found to be better in blocking out sun than some other options in our top double strollers review.
The stroller is light enough to to maneuver through door frames. This was an important issue with other models we tried. It is easy to fold and the handlebars are close to the ground. The only drawback is its limited storage space, which is uncomfortable when filled with things for kids.
